Two Port (Z Parameters Calculation)

Click For Summary
The discussion focuses on calculating V1 in a two-port network using Z parameters. The original poster expresses confusion about finding V1, believing it is not zero. A suggestion is made to use nodal analysis to express V1 and i1 in terms of V2, assuming i2 equals zero. Clarification on the attempt at a solution is requested, indicating the need for a clearer explanation. Understanding nodal analysis is emphasized as crucial for solving the problem effectively.

The Attempt at a Solution

I'm quite confused as to how to find V1? I'm quite sure it isn't 0. I can't seem to think of a way to find it

Your attempt is not clear. Have you studied nodal analysis?

Hint: Express V1 and i1 in terms of V2 (assume i2=0 of course).
