What are Chuck's areas of expertise in science and technology?

I joined this forum as I am retired and miss being around like minded people. I worked many years developing new hardware for a major worldwide computer corporation as well as security software later in my career. Much of the hardware I developed was sonar and weapons systems as well as advanced storage devices. .Much of my back ground in in studying sound waves and radio waves. I have always been into astronomy in my spare time but since being retired I am into it much more and consider myself intermediate with much more to learn..
