What are the Benefits of Combining Permaculture and Welding in DIY Projects?

My name is Hunter, I don't currently go to school but still constantly learning new things.
I work in construction but have interests in a broad range of subjects some of which include permaculture, organic chemistry, landscaping, fine woodworking and welding/fabricating various metals.
