What are the benefits of learning physics online?

I have come here to ask some pretty basic yet dumb questions. I hope that you guys will excuse the fact that I have only learned anything about Physics online. I had a choice in high school between physics and chem. I went for chem and loved every second of it. Still, I regret not being allowed to take both.
