What Are the Benefits of Self-Study in Science?

Hi Guys! :biggrin:

Mheruian here, I'm a guy at 20's and had been in an accident, banged my head on something soft and tada! I felt the essence of self-studying. I'm not a smart guy or anything talented when it comes to studying but I've been doing my best to be understanding on studying and some how, I am now interested in Physics :) Of course, there are some instances that books can't answer some stuffs (somehow) so Looking forward to the geeks in this forum.
