What sparked your interest in mobile sensors and wireless communications?

physmat
Hello,

I'm Community Growth Manager at OpenSignal. Studied pure mathematics for my bachelor's degree, but never got around to going deeper with physics. Now that I'm in the mobile sensors, electronics, and wireless communications / telco space, I am extremely interested in everything connected to these subjects and the science, physics, and mathematics behind the technologies I work with. Also interested in the different applications from a particular physical model, technique, or concept.

Looking forward to the discussions!

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
