This show is pretty good.

The science in it is pretty good for a TV show too.

Is this the show on AMC about the chemistry teacher who starts a meth lab with his student? I have seen the ads, but haven't had much time to watch TV. When is it on? I'll try to check it out next time I have time.
 
I don't think I've heard of it beyond title only. Whats the premise?

Yes this is the premise. The whole first two episodes are available online on AMC's website.

The show is on Sundays at 10 PM.Tonight is the season finale, so if you do decide to watch you might want to at least watch the first two episodes first or else you will be lost.
