It's really the best option if you plan to take notes in class, using your laptop. Trying to use the keyboard, entirely, is a pain in the *** when you have to draw something out. This is especially so in computer science, since professors like drawing pictures to help you visualize invisible things.
The minimum amount of RAM recommended for a college laptop is 3GB. However, it is always better to have more RAM for smoother and faster performance.
For a college laptop, it is recommended to have at least 250GB of hard drive space. This will provide enough storage for all your school-related documents, presentations, and projects.
Most laptops have the option to upgrade the RAM and hard drive. However, it is important to check with the manufacturer to ensure compatibility and avoid any potential damage to your laptop.
In addition to RAM and hard drive space, other important specifications to consider for a college laptop include the processor speed, graphics card, battery life, and weight.
There is no one specific brand or model that is recommended for college students. It is important to research and compare different options to find the best fit for your needs and budget.
