Homework Statement
A supertanker of mass 1.0 X 10^8 travels 3.5km, reaching a speed of 4.1km/h from rest. What was the magnitude of the unbalanced force acting on it?
2. The attempt at a solution
I got the acceleration(2.4m/s^2), but how do I fit this into the equation? The answer is...
A train travels 58km at an average velocity of 77km/h[E] waits for 5min, and then runs for half an hour at an average velocity of 64km/h[E]. Find the total displacement.
HOW?!?? I am so confused. I have a test tomorrow and my teacher is useless. Please help me pass this course.
For the velocity time graph, how do I get the average speed for the entire set of data? It starts at the origin, then goes up to (120,25) for A, and then the final point is F which is (720, -140)
Homework Statement
Im trying to get the displacement of a position on the graph with the following
point 1: (600, -75)
point 2: (720, -140)
Now usually I use BxH/2, because it's a triangle, but I can't really get it for this. The answer shows 21 800. I've tried everything in my power...
