Frequency Vs Max Load current (Motor)
all i want to ensure is i do not lose my blast wheel efficiency which is being run by the motor. All experts recommend running the wheel @90% to get max utilization. Blasting is controlled by amperes - with 50 HZ i can get 19-20 Amps easy (90% of 21 A) but when i bring the freq. down using...- abhipatel

Frequency Vs Max Load current (Motor)
Have a 15 HP motor whose full load current (@ 50 Hz - India norms) is calculated at around 21 Amps. Have added a VFD (Variable Frequency drive) and would like to always run the machine @ 90% of full load current for maximum efficiency. Can anyone assist in helping me calculating full load...- abhipatel

Density of H20 @ 150 C & 600 psi
Can anyone please show me how to look up Density of H20 @ 150 C & 600 psi pressure (Co2)... I found a water table which shows 916.69 kg/m^3 but it does not show anything @ pressure. Isnt density related to both pressure & temp.? What would be the difference in density if No gas was there... -

Reversing Direction & Overheating Solutions for Single Phase AC Motor
I have an AC Gearmotor W/Fan, Base Mnt, 100 rpm, 7 in-lbs Torque, 115 VAC - I need to achieve 2 purposes with it: 1. Need to able to reverse directions - can I do it with a DPDT? 2. It is overheating - how can I solve it -- heatsinks or fans? Any recommended ones -- I have never done that...- abhipatel

Heating Circuit troubleshooting
Could you please help me in figuring how to run Line through the relay, then through the load to Neutral in the form of a schematic or maybe just edit my diagram?... I am still scratching my head and resorting to trial and errors...Thanks- abhipatel

Why Does Water Boil at 155°C Under 600 psi Pressure?
I think just evaporating because I can't see it boiling...The chamber size is quite big...and water measured would be like 100 mg max.- abhipatel

Why Does Water Boil at 155°C Under 600 psi Pressure?
Boiling Point H20 @ 600 psi? According to the psychometric chart boiling point of water @ 600 psi is 252 C. I have a chamber with water inside (in forms of weight measured drops). I am purging CO2 at 600 psi in the chamber. After am heating the chamber to 155 deg C expecting the water to...- abhipatel

How do I draw a blueprint for adding L-shaped welds to a hollow cylinder?
am bit confused...years since I have reviewed orthographic drawings...I have a hollow cylinder (say a pipe with inner & outer diameter) and I want to add 6 L-Shaped welds to its bottom to be able to weld it to a plate. I cannot figure out how to draw a blueprint for the same for the...- abhipatel

Connect pressure transducer o/p to gauge?
Thanks, understand your confusion too ! The thing is the setup has outputs for a transducer but does not have a transducer so rather than spending the money to buy a new one I just wanted to connect it to a pressure gauge (cheaper one) as the intent is to only know the pressure and not...- abhipatel

Connect pressure transducer o/p to gauge?
just some dilemma I ran into I have an experimental setup with a pressure transducer output connections (wires)...I deemed now that a pressure gauge alone will suffice. How do I connect the wires to a pressure gauge? Or do I need to re-do everything?- abhipatel

Graduate R Chart with probability limits
Suppose we want to use probability limits with α = 0.002. What are the control limits for theX and R charts? Sample size is 5...All I want is how do we calculate R limits Solution : W 1 - α/2 = W0.999 = 5.483754 Just want to know what table he has referred to get this answer?- abhipatel
