Solve Fourier Sine Series - Get Help Here!
Hey Jbuns Thanks so much I see how odd n's simplify to 0 and how the the terms simplify when n is even. Also thank you for your post on my other question. If you ever need anything! hit me up lol :D- AerospaceEng

Solve Fourier Sine Series - Get Help Here!
Everything is in the picture I've attached. I believe my work is right because it's not that difficult of a problem but what I'm having a hard time seeing is how i go from the coefficient bn that I've calculated to the final solution. Maybe I did screw up or maybe there's an identity I'm not...- AerospaceEng

Graduate Why Doesn't the Integral of an Odd Function Equal Zero Over [0, 2L]?
That's not my question, I know that sine(xnpi/L)*((2x^2)-1) is an odd function. I'm wondering why the integral of this function from 0 to 2L is not equal to 0 based on the 2 theorems I've posted.- AerospaceEng

Graduate Why Doesn't the Integral of an Odd Function Equal Zero Over [0, 2L]?
Hello I'd first like to state I know how to solve and I know the answer to this integral however when I first looked at the integral my initial thought was that it was equal to zero. I'd like to explain why I thought it was equal to 0 and hopefully someone can tell me where I went wrong. I...- AerospaceEng

Building a glider that can get from point A to B fastest.
My point was that if they wanted to try doing a lifting body glider it probably wouldn't be able to fly fast enough to generate the required lift and unlike the space shuttle which does have wings and travels relatively fast. Matt- AerospaceEng

Building a glider that can get from point A to B fastest.
Interesting idea for sure but, A glider without wings would just be a brick. The only reason a wingless lifting body works is that it's capable of traveling at the speed that allows it to generate enough lift to stay aloft. Without a propulsion system I highly doubt the glider could ever reach...- AerospaceEng

Building a glider that can get from point A to B fastest.
Hey, Hey I see you haven't posted in a while but hopefully if you do check back you'll find this information useful. If you think about it a glider doesn't have an engine so its getting all of it's speed through a component of gravity thus the steeper angle you fly at the faster you'll fly...- AerospaceEng

How Do You Calculate q for an Acid-Base Reaction in a Coffee-Cup Calorimeter?
Homework Statement When 10.00 mL of a solution of strong acid is mixed with 100.00 mL of a solution of weak base in a coffee-cup calorimeter, the temperature rises from 22.8 oC to 26.8 oC. Determine q for the acid-base reaction, assuming that the liquids have densities of 1.00 g/mL and the...- AerospaceEng

First (?) human powered helicopter flight
thanks so much the yuri was really interesting to watch. I found a more detailed video for those who are interested, I thought this was the first human powered flight because in this video there were saying this has never been done before and then at the end they said they set a record? do...- AerospaceEng

Engineering Are My Struggles in Calculus I a Sign I'm Not Cut Out for Engineering?
If your teacher isn't great then that makes all the difference, sit in on another class see if that prof is better. they must have some sort of help centre use that. Everyone has weak points and it doesn't mean you should give up on being an engineer it just means you have to work extra hard to...- AerospaceEng
