Viewing Miller's Planet from Earth Time: Time Dilation Mystery

I am sure everyone has seen Interstellar movie. In the movie, Cooper proposes to orbit around Gargantua, parallel to Miller's planet, to escape from the time dilation. One hour in Miller's planet is equal seven years in Earth's time. My question is, what would it look like, if we happen to view...

    Why are lava fountains silent?

Thanks to both of you for your replies! :)

    Why are lava fountains silent?

I am talking about the aerodynamic noise from the exhaust jets of an engine and not the mechanical noise. Any air flow causes noise take the example of wind. Likewise when a lava fountain comes out of the volcano mouth shouldn't it cause noise which can be heard from quite a distance like in the...

    Why are lava fountains silent?

By other jets i am referring to jets issued from a nozzle for ex. jet engine jets. Considerable amount of noise is produced from the exhaust of jet engines. Why do lava fountains don't create that much noise when compared to the exhaust jets of jet engines?

    Why are lava fountains silent?

Lava fountain is also a form of jet. When other jets produce noise, why do lava fountains not produce any noise?

Effect of wing tip vortex reversal

But wingtips are being used to eliminate them without changing the flow right?

Effect of wing tip vortex reversal

If there was any possibility of reversing the direction of wing tip vortices, what would the effects be? Is there any chance of increasing the thrust or lift? For example the right wing tip produces clockwise vortices and the left wing tip produces counter clockwise vortices(Aircraft viewed...

Why is a potential core region of a jet called a potential core ?

Why is a "potential core" region of a jet called a "potential core"? We all know that there exists a region called "potential core" in a jet where there are no mean velocity gradients. My question is, why is it called a "potential" core?

Why Do Shocks Form in Aerospace Engineering?

I have completed my undergraduation in aerospace engineering. Inspite of studying all subjects there is one basic question which is left unanswered for me..Why do shocks form? Can anyone answer it please?

    Fourier Transform vs z Transform

Then what about Discrete Fourier Transform? How is it different from z transform?

    Fourier Transform vs z Transform

Both Fourier transform and z transform can convert discrete time domain to frequency spectrum domain. Then why do we use Fourier transform rather than z transform? What is the reason behind it? Both give us the frequency spectrum we want.
