Engineering Just got my Electrical engineering degree in Canada - what to do next
Thank you statGuy ... Trust me you don't want to know my mark. My last 2 years would be around 2.5 gpa. I don't consider my self dumb but stupid for not realizing and thinking about my career. I have friends that have found jobs with marks worse than mine, so I am not completely hopeless. I...- Mastaan

Undergrad Relationship between Voltage and Current
Well I guess I am mixing up the resistance of the wire to the load. So there will be some power loss through the wires but why does increasing the voltage decrease the loss? Because I thought the more voltage u have the more current you have through a circuit. But I guess I can't compare it to a...- Mastaan

Undergrad Relationship between Voltage and Current
P = VI . Now say I want to transfer power over long distance, i put it through the the transformer increase the voltage to decrease loss over the line, this is where I am confused. So when u increase the voltage through the transformer, you decrease the current. Voltage is the potential...- Mastaan

High School What does electricity & magnetism travel through
- [SIZE="3"]Electricity by it self needs a conductive path to travel. Electricity is the flow of electrons from one atom to the next in a chain. Think of it as small tiny balls in a pipe hitting each other and forcing the ones in the end to leave. [SIZE="3"] Magnetism it self can't travel...- Mastaan

Engineering Close to finishing my Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and am lost
@ Ryker, denks, Antiphon and Chiro, thank you all for the replies. I have read them carefully over and over again and took mental notes. I think the reason I turned out to be like this, is because I have had my parents to rely on all the time. Now as they grow old, I can see that having a meal...- Mastaan
