Looking for help Setting up a Power Recovery Circuit
Thanks for the response. Sorry, I dind't want to confuse a Generator (Gasoline power engine driven) with just the generator motor itself. I want to use the generator as a generator... But, with little bemf to maintain as close to full rpm's as possible with as little mechanical power as...- Mastiffman

Looking for help Setting up a Power Recovery Circuit
Hello there Everyone! I was interested in connecting up a Power recovery Circuit to a Generator Head and have been doing some reserch on it... The few components that will be key are: 1. Full Wave Bridge Rectifier (To convert the AC to DC) 2. Capacitors (To create the load while keeping...- Mastiffman

Graduate Understanding Magnetism in a Syncronous Motor
Okay, thanks for the reposnse! I'm interested to know what your thoughts would be about a Stator on a Generator that has Spinning Coils on the outside instead of fixed coils... Would this be a way to cancel or reduce back EMF? Here is http://www.intalek.com/Papers/Handout3.pdf" that is...- Mastiffman

Graduate Understanding Magnetism in a Syncronous Motor
Proceeding, producing a benefit" Better? In other words, using a split second reversed pole (n or s?) to help cancel out or reduce the magnetic resistance that a normal Generator produces under load... Just curious what these guys are doing also...- Mastiffman

Graduate Understanding Magnetism in a Syncronous Motor
Would there be any difference of resistive magnetism created in a Syncronous Motor used for a generator as opposed to other types of motors? Reason being is that I'm doing some research on generators for my own personal advancement and was wondering if there was a way and proceeding...- Mastiffman

(QUESTION I was Thinking of Creating a Generator System
Thanks for responding and I appreciate all of the comments and knowledge. This is basically what I'm looking for, a UPS. But in the aspect of eventualy creating enough to power my home one day. regardless of it's Efficient or not because it's all going to be machine based... No? I just...- Mastiffman

(QUESTION I was Thinking of Creating a Generator System
Okay I understand now... So what were to happen if I took a Brushless permenant magnet motor and spun that mechanically with a motor in this manner...? Here is video of what I was thinking but they didn't use my pulley idea or recharged battery idea... [crackpot link deleted]- Mastiffman

(QUESTION I was Thinking of Creating a Generator System
How is it that a Man can use a Pulley System to lift something that is many times more weight than he can nomrally lift? Is that the same "Gadgetry" that you are spekaing of that I'm considering using? So are you implying that the Automobile DC to AC upconverters are all a hoax then? Would a...- Mastiffman

(QUESTION I was Thinking of Creating a Generator System
12v Car Battery Connected to an "Upconverter" that typically plugs into a cars Cigarette lighter... Why wouldn't the (Automotive Type) DC to AC upconverter be able to be powered by the 12V car Battery? Isn't this what they are deisgned for? Am I missing a design step in between the 12v car...- Mastiffman

(QUESTION I was Thinking of Creating a Generator System
(QUESTION:) I was Thinking of Creating a Generator System... Okay, so I've been thinking about creating a generator system that doesn't reply on a Ful powered engine and to eventually get off of the "grid' completely one day... Also, in the last 4.5 years since we've moved into this house...- Mastiffman
