These questions relate to the secondary coulometric titration of vitamin C. In this titration an applied voltage is used to generate a current that oxidizes Iodide to iodine. Iodine then oxidizes vitamin C. A starch indicator detects excess iodine via the formation of I3-

Yeah I had a friend online plug my numbers into a calculator and it ended up as 4.70952x10^-4 meters which corresponds to 0.471 m. Still wrong.
My algebra is the same as yours.

Light from a helium-neon laser (wave length 633 nm) is used to illuminate two narrow slits. The interference pattern is observed on a screen 3.1 m behind the slits. Twelve bright fringes are seen, spanning a distance of 50 mm
What is the spacing, in mm, between the slits...

The standing wave in the picture is oscillating at 100 Hz. What is it's velocity?
Homework Equations
Velocity=(wavelength)(frequency)
I believe is the equation that applies here.
The Attempt at a Solution
The wavelength from the picture appears to be...
I've attached an MS paint version of a GRE geometry problem. It's a quantitative comparison question. It asks you to compare two values and say whether one is greater, they're the same, or they're not enough information to say which is greater.
In the picture I drew everything is in...
Homework Statement
This problem asks you to compare two values and say whether one is greater, they are the same, or the problem does not give you enough information to answer the question. In this question they give you a symbol, in this case "+" and then define what it does to a number...
Well I don't see how I could figure it out without plugging in two very different numbers for Bill, and then solving for Gina. I tried Bill=One and then Bill=1000 and got two different answers, therefore the answer is "not enough info."
