AAPT Conferences (2026,2027)

The AAPT has scheduled its upcoming conferences for 2026 and 2027, including the Winter Meeting in Las Vegas from January 17-19, 2026, and the Summer Meeting in Pasadena from July 18-22, 2026. The 2027 Winter Meeting will take place in New Orleans from January 9-12, and the Summer Meeting will be held in Washington, DC, from July 31 to August 4. I won't be attending the 2026 Winter Meeting in Las Vegas... For me, it's too close to the start of the semester.

The abstract submission deadline is Friday, September 12, 2025.
The poster submission deadline is Monday, November 3, 2025.

Likes vela, berkeman and WWGD
A number of teachers have been interested in collecting the black and white films that were part of the PSSC program in the 1960s. Many of these have been converted to mp4 now and are available at archive.org, youtube.com, and other places. I have collected 58 of them, and teachers are welcome to contact me if interested.
