AI Thread Summary
Calculating the cube root of a 24-digit number can be approached using methods like calculus or algebra. The Newton-Raphson algorithm is suggested for finding real roots efficiently. The specific number in question is x^3 = 133737775549834923406792, where x is a positive integer. Resources are provided for further exploration of cube root algorithms. The focus remains on obtaining the real part of the solution.

Hello Friends,
I have a question of calculating a cube root of large number like 24 digit number.
I calculated by means of Wolfram but I want to try it myself on paper. Is there a method such as Calculus or Algebraic to find the cube root?
Thank you.
P.S. I want to use the method for several other numbers.

Well the number is : x^3= 133737775549834923406792. So I wish to find out the 'x'.
And x is a positive integer. So I only want the real part here. And the real part only exists.
thanks Simon Bridge. :)
