AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around a misunderstanding related to a thread title about moving on from past mistakes. The participant expresses disappointment after realizing they misread a definition, initially thinking they had made a typo. They also introduce a mathematical exercise involving a subset of the plane that intersects every line at exactly two points. This shift in focus highlights the interplay between personal reflection and mathematical concepts. Ultimately, the conversation reflects a blend of emotional response and intellectual engagement.

Here's a fun exercise: Show that there is a subset of the plane that intersects every line at precisely two points.

I was reading documentation about the soundness and completeness of logic formal systems. Consider the following $$\vdash_S \phi$$ where ##S## is the proof-system making part the formal system and ##\phi## is a wff (well formed formula) of the formal language. Note the blank on left of the turnstile symbol ##\vdash_S##, as far as I can tell it actually represents the empty set. So what does it mean ? I guess it actually means ##\phi## is a theorem of the formal system, i.e. there is a...
