AI Thread Summary
The discussion highlights significant concerns regarding the legal system's oversight in death investigations, particularly in South Carolina, where new legislation mandates that coroners must have at least a high school diploma. This change underscores a perceived gap in qualifications that could have serious implications for legal outcomes. Participants express disbelief that death investigations are not federally regulated, given their critical role in court cases. The conversation also notes the availability of PBS Frontline programs online, which provide further insights into these issues, including documentaries on related topics like the financial crash.

Pretty shocking. Who knew there was such a gaping hole in our legal system that can have immense consequences. South Caroline *just* enacted policy that makes it a requirement for someone to have at least a high school diploma if they want to be a coroner.

How is death investigation not federally regulated if it can be used to determine the outcomes of court cases? It's quite mind blowing.

That was quite shocking. I saw your post and thought I had missed it, but it came on two hours later locally.

For those who aren't aware, most of the Frontline programs are available to watch online.

I have even purchased a couple of videos about the financial crash from PBS.

Does anyone know when electric wall plugs were in widespread use? 1906 ad DDTJRAC Even big...
