AI Thread Summary
The output of an active filter depends on the configuration of the circuit and the specific components used, particularly Y2, Y3, and Y4. To determine the output, one must derive the transfer function, which involves all elements Y1 to Y5. The expected behavior of the filter is a lowpass characteristic. Understanding the transfer function is crucial for clarifying the output response. Accurate analysis of the circuit components will resolve the confusion regarding the filter's output.

I would expect the transfer function to involve all elements Y1-Y5 shown. Are you able to determine the transfer function? That's how you find out.

It looks like it will have a lowpass characteristic.
