AI Thread Summary
The conversation centers around the idea that ITER, the international nuclear fusion research project, may deserve a Nobel Peace Prize, especially in light of past winners like Al Gore and Barack Obama, who some feel were undeserving. There is skepticism about whether ITER could actually win a Nobel Prize, particularly in Physics, as it is typically awarded to individuals rather than organizations. The discussion also questions the appropriateness of this topic for the forum. Overall, the sentiment reflects a debate on the value and recognition of scientific contributions versus individual accolades. The conversation highlights differing opinions on the merit of awards in relation to significant scientific endeavors.

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a burnup calculation for a fuel assembly with repeated geometric structures using MCNP6. I have defined two materials (Material 1 and Material 2) which are actually the same material but located in different positions. However, after running the calculation with the BURN card, I am encountering an issue where all burnup information(power fraction(Initial input is 1,but output file is 0), burnup, mass, etc.) for Material 2 is zero, while Material 1...
