In summary, a background in science can greatly enhance a career in music by providing a strong foundation in critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. These skills are highly transferable and can be applied to various aspects of the music industry, such as music production, sound engineering, and music technology. Additionally, a scientific background can also help musicians understand the technical aspects of music, such as acoustics and sound waves, allowing them to create and manipulate music in a more precise and intentional manner. Moreover, a scientific mindset can aid in the creative process by fostering a curiosity and experimentation that can lead to innovative and unique musical compositions. Overall, a background in science can provide valuable skills and perspectives that can greatly enhance a career in music.

I'm supposed to introduce myself or put out an actual question? Unclear. Anyway, I'm a 61-year-old musician, music teacher and composer who has also worked with many scientists back in the day, my primary scientific interests being in bioacoustics, psychobiology, complexity theory and cosmology. I can drop a few names but will not unless challenged because of my Right-Brain-oriented occupation. Thanks.
