My physics professor posed that question to us a while back, and he never gave us the answer. I tried solving it but I had no idea what units to convert it too.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the answer may possibly be?

I'm sure many people here would have a stab at the answer if they knew what the question was.

Oh yea sry about that...

The question was, what is the area efficiency (in SI units) of Miles Per Gallon?

My first question is, what does "area efficiency" mean?
