Argonne Undergraduate Summer 2007 Internship

AI Thread Summary
The application deadline for summer internships at Argonne National Laboratory and other DOE labs is February 1, 2007. Interested candidates should visit the Argonne website for details, noting that the Argonne Student Research Participation Program requires a direct application to Argonne rather than through the DOE. Accepted interns are encouraged to reach out for guidance or to visit the accelerator facility. There is also a query regarding eligibility for current college seniors graduating in the spring, indicating a need for clarification on application requirements for this group.

Deadline for application: Feb. 1, 2007

If you are interested and eligible to apply for a summer internship at Argonne National laboratory, or any DOE lab, please note that the deadline for application is Feb. 1, 2007.

Note that in the webpage, there is a separate program called Argonne Student Research Participation Program that you apply directly to Argonne and not the DOE webpage.

If you have been accepted for this, or any other programs at Argonne, please don't hesitate to contact me, especially if you need to know your way around, or even to come visit me here at our accelerator facility.

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
