If someone can explain what has really been done here in simple English, please do so.
Don't just quote popular news sources, which are almost worthless.

They've done in the real world what is described in the thought experiment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_teleportation#Protocol

What is the influence of the transfer of a qubit?
Can this communication of qubit translate to creating a molecule down the road?

Insights auto threads is broken atm, so I'm manually creating these for new Insight articles. If we release an electron around a positively charged sphere, the initial state of electron is a linear combination of Hydrogen-like states. According to quantum mechanics, evolution of time would not change this initial state because the potential is time independent. However, classically we expect the electron to collide with the sphere. So, it seems that the quantum and classics predict different behaviours!
