Behavior of Particles at 1 & 2 GeV: Neutron & Proton

How does particles like neutron and proton behaves like under the energies of 1 or 2 GeV?

what is the main difference or characteristic being observed?

That's a question with a lot of answers. It would help if you said what aspect you wanted to know about; decay rates, interactions, lifetimes, nuclear orbits... Although you should know it's fairly rare to get neutrons with that much energy just flying about! With electrons and protons, having charge, it is fairly easy to get them moving at those sort of relativistic speeds (such as in accelerators and cosmic rays), but neutrons - with effectively only a pitiful magnetic moment present a lot more difficulties.
 
I would like to know about the "interactions" part...knowledge on other aspects is also welcomed...

Also on the topic of neutrons...I would like to further ask that very soon after the big bang there were many protons and neutrons created during or before the hadron epoch which had energy level of 1 or 2 GeV so "HOW" did these neutrons behaved then under that condition?
 
Anyone have any knowledge on the interactions property of particles like proton and neutron at the mentioned energy levels? any links would also be helpful

Are you asking about collisions of protons and neutrons at those energies?
 
Yes, you can answer that as well...also please inform briefly on why such collisions are performed .

I just want to know what that sort of energy level does to the particles like proton and/or neutron especially at their interaction property.
