Cant oscillate sine wave from bubba oscillator

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the inability to oscillate a sine wave using the "bubba" oscillator in pSpice. Key advice includes ensuring correct power supply pin connections, specifically noting that for TL084 and LM348 op-amps, pin 4 serves as Vcc, which differs from the typical Vee configuration in dual op-amps. This distinction is crucial for proper circuit functionality.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of operational amplifier configurations, specifically TL084 and LM348.
  • Familiarity with pSpice simulation software.
  • Knowledge of power supply pin assignments in op-amps.
  • Basic concepts of sine wave oscillation in electronic circuits.
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the differences between Vcc and Vee in various op-amp models.
  • Learn how to configure a "bubba" oscillator in pSpice for sine wave generation.
  • Explore troubleshooting techniques for oscillation issues in electronic circuits.
  • Study the characteristics and applications of TL084 and LM348 op-amps.
USEFUL FOR

Electronics engineers, students learning about oscillators, and anyone working with pSpice simulations who needs to troubleshoot sine wave generation issues.

Make sure that you have your power supply pins right. TL084's and LM348's use pin 4 as Vcc, which is a little confusing when you used to pin 4 being used for Vee on all of the dual op amp parts.

What is the diffrenace between Vcc and Vee?
the pins are proper connected as u can see in the attachment.

thank you,
