I have a negative clamper with a simple capacitor and a single diode. This circuit clamps the Sinusoidal wave (2V- peak to peak) to the negative peaks and makes the output (0 to 4V) ..
My question is how do i make the output signal 8V using the same input and more or less the same circuit.. my teacher says its possible.. I can't get how..
Help Me! :)

Mayb a voltage doubler? A simple one requires a capacitor and diode which is more or less the components you have available.

i dont' know.. seems okay. will ask the teacher. i need an output 4 times the input. clamper increases the average value of a sinusoidal input from 0 to V.. i need it raise to 2V
