AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on converting a force of 1.8 microNewtons (uN) into equivalent acceleration in g units, where 1 g equals 9.81 Newtons per kilogram. Participants clarify that the problem is essentially a unit conversion, similar to converting eggs to dozens. The conversion involves using the known relationship between force and acceleration due to gravity. The initial confusion arises from the wording of the problem, but it is ultimately straightforward. The conclusion emphasizes that the process is simpler than anticipated.

this problem might be extremely simple but the wording is confusing me

b]1. Homework Statement [/b]

"What dose that force correspond to in equivalent acceleration in g uints? (9.81 Nt/Kg)"

the force i had from the question be fore is 1.8uN (micro)

soooo is it asking me how many g's dose this equal?

This is unit conversion. If I said I had x eggs and that 12 eggs make a dozen, how many dozens do I have with x eggs?

x eggs * (1 dozen per 12 eggs) = x/12 dozens

Now, you have a force and you know how much force makes a g. Do the same thing.

alright that's what i thought, i was expecting it to be more complicated
