Dielectric Constants & Breakdown of Various Materials

AI Thread Summary
A request for a comprehensive table of dielectric constants and breakdown voltages for various materials initiated the discussion. Users shared links to existing resources, including a small table from HyperPhysics and another focused on semiconductors. One participant provided a compiled table, though it required manual entry into a database. The thread highlights the challenge of finding extensive data on dielectric properties. Overall, the discussion reflects ongoing interest in dielectric constants despite the inactivity over the past three years.

I need a huge table of the dielectric consant and breakdown of various materials...

I have looked all over the net but can only find small tables with 5-10 materials...

Here is a not so huge table I have compiled. Sorry it's not in text format, you will have to
type it into your database.

Thread 'Motional EMF in Faraday disc, co-rotating magnet axial mean flux'
So here is the motional EMF formula. Now I understand the standard Faraday paradox that an axis symmetric field source (like a speaker motor ring magnet) has a magnetic field that is frame invariant under rotation around axis of symmetry. The field is static whether you rotate the magnet or not. So far so good. What puzzles me is this , there is a term average magnetic flux or "azimuthal mean" , this term describes the average magnetic field through the area swept by the rotating Faraday...
