AI Thread Summary
Scholarship opportunities for studying Physics in the USA often require students to actively research and apply for them, as purely academic scholarships tend to be limited. Teaching or research assistantships are common routes for funding in Physics or Math programs. It's essential for students to take initiative by contacting university physics departments directly to inquire about available scholarships. Relying on others to find scholarships can lead to missed opportunities and uncertainty. Taking personal responsibility in the search process is crucial for success in securing funding for studies.

I love Physics and want to study in the USA after grad. What are the opportunities of scholarship in the USA?

Physics news on Phys.org
Basketball or Football?

Purely achedemic scholarships are generally small and require research {to find them} on the part of the student. If you are going into Physics or Math the usual route is a Teaching or Research assitentship

None of them.
I have little knowledge about that, can you please explain deeper and give links?

Don't take this the wrong way, But.

YOU have to take an act part and look for yourself. Asking other people to find scholarships for you, is just setting yourself up for failure. Do a web search, call up a physics department at any Univeristy and ask them about what kind of scholarships they offer. Do the work yourself and you know it's done correctly, Ask someone else and well, it's a crap-shoot.

totally agree with the above comment you have to find it all out your self.. I know I'm a UK student looking to do a PhD in the US... Physics is very broad what do you want to specialise in?

OK I'll do the it myself. Thanks for advices.

I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
I don't need cloth simulation. I need to simulate clothing meshes. Made of triangles and I need an answer that someone with High School math can understand. I am actually using the time it takes for someone to answer to create a model with less geometry than the one I have been using. I want clothing that can be removed on a model that will be animated. I don't need stretching or wrinkles on my meshes, I just need gravity. I have an idea of how I could do it, but I don't know how to apply...
