Earth and Moon Orbits Aligned: Consequences?

AI Thread Summary
If the Moon's orbit around Earth aligned with Earth's orbit around the Sun, it would result in a solar and lunar eclipse occurring every lunar month. This alignment would significantly increase the frequency of eclipses, altering the visibility and timing of these events. The gravitational dynamics between the Earth and Moon could also change, potentially affecting tides and climate patterns. Such a scenario would have profound implications for both astronomical observations and Earth's ecological systems. The discussion highlights the fascinating interplay between celestial mechanics and their consequences on Earth.

what would happen if moon orbits around Earth were to be on the same plane as the earthe Earth's orbit around the sun?

Each (lunar) month we would have a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse.

I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
