I don't often get excited about doors, but this is pretty neat!

Wouldn't that door be only accessible from that one side?

Also...so much creaking of the wood...

Amazing design! Probably not so practical for a real door, but it could be used to great effect in some sort of stage show or music video.

who said it had to be wood ?
and here's the steel version being opened from both sides
That doesn't seem to be a problem

The steel one seems much better and could be an actual door. Looks like it could be made of wood as well as steel.

In the first video, it didn't look like the other side had anything for the person to push to open it...maybe there are handles on that side that we can't see...o.o

It's function is to look cool, not for people to go through the opening.

Memo to self: never give a furniture designer a book on origami.

It doesn't require a handle, it is enough to push.

Floor is crackling, not the door.

Oops, looks like you spoke too late Greg!

Would do nicely for a closet door. 2x2 wood frame covered with print to match room accessories....

Are those rods on the back as easy to locate as it looks?

I notice one interleaves, the other flexes...

It has a built in feature where it cuts your fingers off clean and cauterizes the wound. You could say it's cutting edge technology.
