AI Thread Summary
Frying eggs in vegetable oil can lead to an oily mouthfeel, but it does not pose any long-term health risks. The body is capable of processing and eliminating excess oil naturally. For future cooking, it's advisable to use less oil or absorb excess oil with a paper towel to avoid a greasy texture. There is a misconception about oil being hydrophilic; it is actually hydrophobic. For alternative cooking methods, consider using butter or minimal amounts of olive oil.

I was experimenting with frying eggs in vegitable oil. The result tasted good but it made my mouth oily all day. I'm I going to be all right? How long is it till the oil is out of my body if ever. (I know oil is hydrophilic) Is my body going to be able to get rid of it?! Is the inside of my body going to be forever oily?

lol, you'll be fine. In the future use a paper towel to absorb some of the oil before consumption.

That is a LOT of oil you've used if your mouth is oily. I use butter instead of oil or very little olive oil.

The deer that was road killed just down the road two weeks ago is now fully decomposed, so no more smell. Somebody has a spike buck skull for their...
