AI Thread Summary
To assess the growth and financial performance of industries like robotics or petroleum, individuals can refer to annual reports of publicly traded companies, which disclose financial information and forecasts. These reports are accessible online and include 'forward-looking statements' that provide insights into future trends, although they do not reveal detailed strategies. For broader industry analysis, various organizations attempt to project long-term trends, but these forecasts can be speculative. One such resource mentioned is Trends Research, which offers insights into industry developments.

I just want to see what industry I want to go into when I'm older:)! Thanks

Individual companies, if publicly traded, need to make this information public in their annual reports. Those are on the web.

There are various organizations to try to look years or decades ahead for trends, but they are rather speculative, although some may be better than others.

And example is Trends Research - http://www.trendsresearch.com/. No endorsement expressed or implied.
