Gravitational & Electrostatic Force: Why They Attract/Repel

AI Thread Summary
Gravitational and electrostatic forces exist as fundamental interactions in nature, with gravity always attracting masses and electrostatic forces causing charges to either attract or repel. The attraction between masses is explained by the curvature of spacetime, while electrostatic interactions arise from the properties of electric charges. The discussion highlights the distinction between scientific explanations and philosophical inquiries regarding the "why" of these forces. Ultimately, physics aims to describe the mechanisms behind these interactions, while deeper existential questions remain in the realm of philosophy. Understanding these forces is essential for grasping the fundamental principles of physics.

Hi THere!
can somebody please tell me why gravitation and electrostatic force exist?
why two charges attract or repel each other, and why two masses always attract each other?

No.

I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
