Hello, I am being asked to find the magnitude and directional sense

Hello, I am being asked to find the magnitude and directional sense and I know how to resolve it but I am having a lot of trouble figuring out the signs. I read somethign about the right hand rule and I know it is suppose to be the easiest way but I just don't get it. could you point me in the right direction please?

Hi all, I've been a roulette player for more than 10 years (although I took time off here and there) and it's only now that I'm trying to understand the physics of the game.
