HHO Generator Design for 6.4L V8 Engines

AI Thread Summary
Designing an HHO generator for a 6.4L V8 engine requires calculating the necessary hydrogen output to achieve efficient performance. For a 300 kW gasoline engine, a derate for hydrogen indicates a need for approximately 75 kW of power. With a conservative efficiency estimate of 20%, the generator must produce around 375 kW of thermal energy. Given the lower heating value (LHV) of hydrogen at 121 MJ/kg, users can determine the required liters per minute (lpm) of hydrogen production. Effective design hinges on these calculations to ensure the generator can sustain engine operation.

Has anyone come up with a design for an HBO generator to run an engine just on hho? How many lpm would I need to produce to run a 6.4 litre v8

Take a 6 odd litre V8 producing say 300kWb on gasoline. Apply a derate for straight hydrogen (say 75%) for knock margin, and you're looking for 75kWb. Apply a conservative efficiency (say 20%), and you're looking for something like 375kWth of fuel energy. The LHV of hydrogen is 121MJ/kg.

I'm sure you can do the maths from here...

Thread 'Weird near-field phenomenon I get in my EM simulation'
I recently made a basic simulation of wire antennas and I am not sure if the near field in my simulation is modeled correctly. One of the things that worry me is the fact that sometimes I see in my simulation "movements" in the near field that seems to be faster than the speed of wave propagation I defined (the speed of light in the simulation). Specifically I see "nodes" of low amplitude in the E field that are quickly "emitted" from the antenna and then slow down as they approach the far...
Hello dear reader, a brief introduction: Some 4 years ago someone started developing health related issues, apparently due to exposure to RF & ELF related frequencies and/or fields (Magnetic). This is currently becoming known as EHS. (Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a claimed sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, to which adverse symptoms are attributed.) She experiences a deep burning sensation throughout her entire body, leaving her in pain and exhausted after a pulse has occurred...
