AI Thread Summary
3D anime characters are created rapidly due to a combination of advanced technology and a large workforce of skilled animators in Japan, the birthplace of anime. The use of programming languages alone is insufficient for quick production; instead, studios utilize specialized tools and machines that streamline the animation process. For example, a machine connected to a computer can generate stills based on a storyline, significantly speeding up production times. This technology allows studios to produce a 30-minute clip in just three days, maintaining high-quality visuals that resemble traditional hand-drawn animation.

I think simply using the programming languages alone to creating them may not accomplish it on time.

Are they using any tools or any ways to make it simpler faster productively ?

Thanks

Anime comes from Japan. Japan is the capital of tech nowadays pretty much. They have plenty of smart brains to program away for their "entertainment". Personally, I think anime is stupid, especially because of all the kids that get so engrossed in it.

japan is the birth place of anime i went to japan 3 years ago and visited hayao miyazaki's animation studio some things are still done the old way but he showed me a new machine that is hooked to a big computer they tell the computer the story line and the machine draws all the stills its friggen awsome it only takes them 3 days to do one 30 minute clip and it looks just like people drew them i hope that answers your question

Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'
I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
Sorry if 'Profile Badge' is not the correct term. I have an MS 365 subscription and I've noticed on my Word documents the small circle with my initials in it is sometimes different in colour document to document (it's the circle at the top right of the doc, that, when you hover over it it tells you you're signed in; if you click on it you get a bit more info). Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
