AI Thread Summary
A user is seeking assistance in locating the first part of a PDF document found online, specifically from the University of Pennsylvania's SEAS website. The provided link leads to a second part of a lecture on the MSD system, but the user cannot find the corresponding first part. Suggestions include navigating back up the URL structure to locate the first part and attempting to modify the URL by changing the number from "2" to "1," although this did not yield results. Two alternative documents were found, one of which may be mislabelled as it is believed to be 'Lecture One: Part I.' A search technique using "site:http://www.seas.upenn.edu/" was recommended to refine search results on major search engines.

I have found this link in the google but I cannot find its link in the site so that I can find it's first part.

Would somebody like to help?

http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~ese112/labs/MSDSystemLecturePart%202.pdf

It's a pdf document as you see but how can I find it by entering that website?

Thank you.

Maybe go back farther up the URL near the top and see if you can find your way back down?

http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~ese112/

I tried just changing the "2" to a "1" in the full URL, but that didn't work...

I found these two documents:

http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~ese112/labs/Lecture2Part1-Intro%20oCircuits.pdf
http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~ese112/labs/MSDPart1-ESE112%202007.pdf

I think the first one is mislabel and is actually 'Lecture One: Part I'.

I added 'site:http://www.seas.upenn.edu/' to my search to limit my results (Should work with all major search engines).

In my discussions elsewhere, I've noticed a lot of disagreement regarding AI. A question that comes up is, "Is AI hype?" Unfortunately, when this question is asked, the one asking, as far as I can tell, may mean one of three things which can lead to lots of confusion. I'll list them out now for clarity. 1. Can AI do everything a human can do and how close are we to that? 2. Are corporations and governments using the promise of AI to gain more power for themselves? 3. Are AI and transhumans...
Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'
I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
