How can I improve the legibility of my homework post for better responses?

AI Thread Summary
Improving the legibility of homework posts is crucial for receiving helpful responses. Posts that are messy or poorly photographed deter volunteers who prefer clear and organized submissions. Using LaTeX for formatting can enhance readability and facilitate easier interaction. Effort in presentation can significantly increase the likelihood of getting assistance, as responders are more inclined to help those who show consideration. Posts lacking clarity may lead to being overlooked in favor of more legible inquiries.

You are probably not getting any meaningful responses because your post is illegible. You didn’t take care to write neatly, and you didn’t even bother to square up your camera to the pages.

FYI, the people helping you here are all volunteers. When they see a post like this, with no effort to make it legible, they tend to simply move on to help someone else who has shown a little more effort and is therefore more likely to benefit. Better still, they would prefer to see your work done in Latex so that they can easily read, quote, and edit.

It isn’t against the rules to make hard to read photos, but it also isn’t against the rules to choose to answer someone else’s question instead of yours. You are competing for expert attention with other students all of whom are equally deserving as you but some of whom are more considerate.

I am closing this thread. You are welcome to post with more consideration.

Thread 'Collision of a bullet on a rod-string system: query'
In this question, I have a question. I am NOT trying to solve it, but it is just a conceptual question. Consider the point on the rod, which connects the string and the rod. My question: just before and after the collision, is ANGULAR momentum CONSERVED about this point? Lets call the point which connects the string and rod as P. Why am I asking this? : it is clear from the scenario that the point of concern, which connects the string and the rod, moves in a circular path due to the string...
