AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on a high school physics project requiring the creation of a "Flying Shoebox Cargo Project." The project involves designing an aircraft that can safely transport eggs, emphasizing the need for structural components like two wings, a horizontal stabilizer, and a vertical stabilizer. Participants highlight the importance of experimentation in developing effective solutions for protecting the eggs during flight, suggesting that creativity and trial-and-error will be key to success in the project.

Hey, I was just referred to Physics Forums by a friend. I am not sure if this is in the correct forum, please movie if necessary.

I just received a project for my High School Physics I class.

I have to create a Flying Shoebox Cargo Project.

This is the rubric:

I don't understand how to make it... any ideas?

It's an aircraft, isn't it? You're going to need two wings, a horizontal stabilizer, and a vertical stabilizer.

I'm not going to tell you how to keep the eggs safe, as that seems to be the whole purpose of the project. It looks like it's time to experiment!

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
Yesterday, 9/5/2025, when I was surfing, I found an article The Schwarzschild solution contains three problems, which can be easily solved - Journal of King Saud University - Science ABUNDANCE ESTIMATION IN AN ARID ENVIRONMENT https://jksus.org/the-schwarzschild-solution-contains-three-problems-which-can-be-easily-solved/ that has the derivation of a line element as a corrected version of the Schwarzschild solution to Einstein’s field equation.
