How Do You Convert Weber Units to Tesla in SI?

AI Thread Summary
To convert 2.07*10^-15 Webers in MKS units to SI units, no conversion is necessary as Weber is already an SI unit for magnetic flux. The discussion clarifies that Weber is part of the SI system, specifically within the mKgs framework. Participants confirm that the value remains the same and does not require any multiplication or adjustment. A reference to a NIST website is provided for further clarification on unit definitions. Overall, the conversation emphasizes the understanding that Webers are already expressed in SI units.

If you mean convert to "cgs" units of Maxwells, it's:
2.07*10^(-15) Webers = 2.07*10^(-7) Maxwells

Is that the same for SI ?

Yes,Weber is a unit from SI-mKgs.It needs no conversion,as usually units are converted from SI-cgs to SI-mKgs and not viceversa.

Daniel.

So 2.07*10^(-15) Webers is in SI units and does not need to be multiplied by 10^7 or anything else right?

yep :approve:

Ups,in the case you didn't get from my previous post,mKgs IS A PART OF SI.It is the reccomended system of units.

Daniel.

Got it...that website was also quite useful. Thanks for the help. It helps clear things.
