AI Thread Summary
Oxidation significantly influences creep behavior in metals, particularly through mechanisms like diffusion creep. Research on this topic often focuses on specific metals, making it challenging to find comprehensive resources. A suggested starting point is a paper found on SpringerLink, which may provide relevant insights. Additional literature on the effects of oxidation on creep is also recommended for a broader understanding. Exploring these resources can enhance knowledge on the interplay between oxidation and metal creep.

Hello,

I'm writing a paper on the effect oxidation has on creep in metals. I'm a bit lost as I've been able to find is papers on this topic for specific metals. Could anyone suggest a good paper or good book that could help light the way that talks on diffusion creep or better still the effects of oxidation on creep? Or help point me in the right direction. Anything would be quite helpful.

Thanks
