How to calculate a jet pump thrust force?

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

To calculate the thrust force of a jet pump, one must understand the relationship between the diameter of the pipe and the velocity of the fluid inside. The formula for thrust force is derived from the principles of fluid dynamics, specifically utilizing the momentum equation. Key factors include the cross-sectional area of the jet and the exit velocity of the fluid. This discussion highlights the importance of these parameters in determining the effective thrust produced by the jet pump.

hi everyone

In order to calculate the thrust force of a jet pump , what must I know and what is the formula used?

thanks :)

Thrust where? How does the setup look at all?
My guess: Diameter of a pipe and velocity of the fluid inside.

the same as the one in the jetovator
