AI Thread Summary
To find citation statistics for a specific researcher in leading journals, several databases and tools are commonly used, including Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science. These platforms track citations and provide metrics like h-index, which indicates both productivity and citation impact. Many universities and institutions also offer access to these databases for their members. Additionally, some researchers maintain personal profiles that include citation counts. Overall, citation statistics are systematically recorded and can be accessed through these resources.

Does anybody know how to find how often a specific researcher is cited in leading journals? Is such statistics kept in some way at all?

Is it possible to know how many times a researcher has been cited?

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
