AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the famous line from the movie "To Have and Have Not," questioning its origin and whether it appears in the original book. Participants express curiosity about the line, particularly Walter Brennan's variation, "Say, was you ever bit by a dead bee?" Additionally, there is a tangent about a dead rattlesnake's ability to strike after being beheaded, which adds an intriguing but unrelated element to the conversation. The original poster plans to visit a bookstore to confirm the line's presence in the book. The conversation highlights the intersection of film and literature while exploring unusual animal behavior.
