I'd bet that if you or turbo emptied your browser cache, you wouldn't be able to get back in.

If anyone used the other link https://www.physicsforums.com/misc.php?do=flashchat , then apparently it screws up the preloader.turbo-1 said:https://www.physicsforums.com/chat/preloader.swf
So if people clear browser cache and use the preloader link in the OP, they might be able to get into chat?Edit: Preloader link. https://www.physicsforums.com/chat/preloader.swfAstronuc said:If anyone used the other link https://www.physicsforums.com/misc.php?do=flashchat , then apparently it screws up the preloader.

Rats! I initially clicked on the flashchat link, but when that didn't work, I used the preloader link that I had bookmarked a few weeks ago. Got right in, and I logged out and back in when it became apparent that other members could get in.Evo said:No..

Your cache, all the crap downloaded to your computer whilst browsing. Sometimes computers hold old items and use them instead of the new stuff from the server. It supposed to speed up loading times.
My cache clears on restart. Perhaps your problem is that it stays on for so long.
Windows is an OS that requires occasional restarts to keep it running smoothly other wise it can drastically reduce performance.
