AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on finding software to render LaTeX equations with high quality, similar to those seen in a specific forum. The user has installed MikTeX but is dissatisfied with the output from various software options, describing them as producing "ugly letters." They express a desire for a Windows-based application that allows for document creation akin to MS Word, specifically for including well-rendered equations in formal documents. One participant suggests using LyX, which the user then decides to download and finds it meets their needs perfectly, indicating that LyX is an effective solution for creating documents with aesthetically pleasing LaTeX equations.

I don't use anything - I just type what I want in LaTeX directly into the text window. I use LaTeX mostly just for integrals and matrices, and sometimes when I want fractions to look nice.

I normally don't use LaTeX for exponents and subscripts - I use BB tags that you can get from the extended menu when you click Go Advanced.

Have you tried LyX?

No.I'm talking about a windows binary software(Not sure what this means ).
I want to write a document in something like MS word. The problem with MS word is that it's equation editor produces ugly letters.
For example,I want to write a letter to the president and to include a nice equation in it and print it on a paper.
