AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on expectations regarding John Kerry's potential influence on U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq, with a focus on his anti-war stance. There is a belief that the withdrawal will ultimately be driven by the Iraqi people, who will make the occupation too costly for foreign forces. This perspective draws parallels to the Vietnam War, suggesting that local resistance will force a change. The conversation also includes skepticism about the simplicity of this logic, questioning the characterization of the situation and the implications of labeling foreign forces as "thieves" committing violence against the Iraqi population.

He expects John Kerry, an anti-war, anti military funding to help him. Actually look like he expects John Kerry to withdraw the American troop from Iraq...

Iraqis will create the withdrawl. We can count on the expenses they will incur to do this. Ask yourself what you would do if theives came a murdering your people and stealing your resources. Make it too expensive to steal!

It's simple logic, that will create the withdrawl. Like Vietnam, the solution.
